Christmas in Cleveland
i hope you all had the loveliest of Thanskgivings! I kept hearing about fried turkeys, so next year I expect an invite if you’re planning on frying a turkey. Ya heard me?
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I had an overnight in Cleveland and I discovered one of the coolest things! Something I’d never thought I’d say ;) So a little tiny movie called The Christmas Story was filmed there. You may have heard of it...the one that’s played nonstop for 24 hours on Christmas Eve. It is one of my absolute faves, and it’s a family tradition to watch! Less than five miles from downtown is the house where the movie was filmed. It’s been turned into a destination spot that includes a museum and a gift shop!
My crew and I decided to check it out. For $12 you get an interactive tour of the house that includes fun facts about the movie and hands on memorabilia #leglamp. I played with the Red Ryder BB Gun, and don’t worry…I didn’t shoot my eye out, kid. Check out some of my pics below!
Visiting the iconic house was a fun and festive way to kick off the holidays. What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions? Let me know in the comments!
