Happy Thanksgiving y'all!!
First of all....I can't believe it's Thanksgiving 2017! Where did this year go?! Wherever it went, it was too dang fast.
As I sit here and reflect back on this year, I can honestly say that 2017 has been one of the best years of my life, and it's not even over yet!
I have SO much to be grateful for.
This year I have witnessed the faithfulness and goodness of God in my life and the lives of those I love. He's blessed me with an incredible job that I absolutely adore, adventure, solid relationships, and some things that I haven't even asked for! Say whaaaa! I've seen God show up for my family members and my friends in ways where only He can get the credit, pouring out blessings on them as well. #WeAllWinning
2017 has been that year where I can look back and say 'wow, Jesus, even those little things?!' It's been a year that has Ephesians 3:20 written all over it; a year that has been exceedingly, abundantly, more than I could ask, think or imagine.
Is my life perfect? Nope. Have I experienced heartbreak, disappointment, and loss? Yup.
But, I've decided that I'm going to choose gratefulness.
I'm grateful for the blessings with the big flashing signs, for those are the things I've prayed for. I'm grateful for the subtle gifts that aren't noticed right away, for those are the things I didn't even know I needed. I'm grateful for the crappy, disappointing moments that make me want to curl up into a ball and pull the covers over my head, for those are the hard yet valuable lessons that I take with me into new chapters.
Being grateful may not always be an easy choice, but it definitely makes life easier when you change your perspective to one of thankfulness.
And for that, I'm grateful AF.
"..Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Hope you enjoy your thanksgiving with your friends and family!
