Shedding + Shredding
I don't know why, but September 1st just feels like a fresh start. Yes, a new season is right around the corner. I will only be ordering a PSL when fall officially starts. That's September 22nd for those of you who DON'T know. And, with a fresh start comes fresh motivation. Can I get an amen?
So, I (along with some girlfriends) have committed to making September all about shedding and shredding. Shedding body fat by shredding it into lean muscle. #ShedandShredSeptember Truth be told, we were jokingly throwing around hashtags when this one popped up and we all agreed that it sounded a little inspiring. #Mantra anyone?
We've each committed to working out daily, and personally I'm also logging my food intake through the 'Lose It!' app. It syncs well between my Apple Watch and my iPhone, more than my FitBit ever did. 5:30AM Workouts? Check. Drinking my weight in ounces of H2O? Check. The hardest part of this will be the meal prepping. I STRUGGLE with meal prepping. Partly because I'm lazy and partly because I get bored with the meal plan. I crave variety in all things, especially my food. You can be honest, I know you do too...
Here's a little insight to my Game Plan:
A. Drinking TONS of water - 1 ounce for every pound I weigh. B. Weight Interval Training with a little cardio mixed in. C. Consuming a diet packed with lean proteins. D. Staying away from the crack, aka Processed Foods.
